Greetings, I am Jorge A. Lima, though many know me as
George.
Once upon a time, I dreamt of directing motion pictures on a bustling soundstage, clad in a suit much like the esteemed Alfred Hitchcock. Life, as it often does, took me on a winding journey, and although I’ve stepped onto a set, the suit remains a dream.
My past is a tapestry woven of threads as a filmmaker, photographer, and advertising professional. Now, I stand at the crossroads, charting a new course into the uncharted territory of Machine Learning Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. Here, I endeavor to spin tales through data as I once did through the lens of my camera or the silver screen.
With a heart full of ambition, I aim to share my trials and triumphs through blogging and engaging with accomplished data scientists, entrepreneurs, and creative and business visionaries on my podcast, A Month of Saturdays.
You may wonder why I chose to traverse this divergent path. The answer lies with my beautiful family, who has always had my support and for whom I strive to build a steadfast career in a field that nourishes my curiosity.
Our world is in a constant state of flux, and technology lies at the epicenter. As I write these words,

For once, I yearn to stand on the right side of history, embracing the new skills this groundbreaking era demands.
Today, I find myself having completed my studies in ML Engineering, AI, and Data Science at Lambda School.. My sights are set on a position as a Junior Data Analyst, and I welcome any freelancing opportunities to assist individuals or corporations.
